Why luxury masks? Isn’t the price for single use mask high enough not to call it luxury? No. There is one fundamental thing even pandemic cannot change. We want to look beautiful. This is also true when wearing face masks. They are mandatory in many countries right now (2020 May). Here in Lithuania we finally can go outside without mask and need them just when going into malls or where are people gathering. But how one talented jewelry designer said “You can look beautiful with the mask and reduce the people’s fear”.
I was inspired by the current situation and the fear people were feeling. The current situation resemble scenarios of apocalyptic movies. I’m scared by people in panic, not knowing what to do and lack of understanding. With this luxury respirator mask I wanted to show that you don’t have to fear, you can wear it and feel more confident and reduce the other people’s fear too.
